Recall from Week One’s blog the feeling I wanted to emphasize for the Main Bathroom modernization. When creating an Oasis, there are a couple of things you need to achieve this experience. When I think of the word Oasis, I immediately think of spas with waterfalls, saunas, and soaking pools. I wanted to feel like I entered in a spa ambiance each time, so… for the shower head fixture, I picked a wall mounted Rainfall Shower Head.

Last week, we covered the design elements that will complete the spa look for this design. If you missed the physical design boards and other design details, head on over to Week Two here. Let’s continue with the shower door I chose. I decided to pick one that has a Satin Nickel finish. Part of my reason for this was to have an equal distribution of mixed metals (see physical mood board Below).

As I assembled my physical mood board, I felt I accomplished my goal. I also mentioned in Week One that I am trying to achieve an honest material palette. I wanted the shower door to have a presence. At last, when creating an oasis, you cannot forget the music. I don’t know about you, as for me, I like to listen to spa music that provides Relaxation. Nothing like gaining relief by listening to spa music to reduce stress from a long day of work. I chose a decorative white 100 CFM Bluetooth Stereo Speaker. It’s also a bathroom exhaust fan that comes with many features such as a, LED light, night light and handy dandy remote.
